Salary Information: $75,000 – $80,000 per annum (exclusive of super)

Cre8 Finance Pty Ltd, trading as Your Loan Assist, is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join their growing team.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

- Assist in updating the design and development of existing server applications that connect with multiple external APIs.
- Assist in designing and developing a UX interface to allow internal and external stakeholders to interact with existing applications with ease.
- Maintain and optimise server performance and reliability.
- Communicate in multiple languages with our key stakeholders.
- Interpret specifications, technical designs, and flow charts to implement required functionality.
- Build, maintain, and modify program code for server and web applications in line with system and technical specifications.
- Test, debug, diagnose, and correct errors and faults in applications within established protocols, ensuring functionality meets quality standards.
- Write, update, and maintain technical program documentation, end-user guides, and operational procedures, supporting usability and knowledge sharing.
- Research, consult, analyse, and evaluate system needs to identify and address technology limitations in the existing environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new features and software components, enhancing performance and stakeholder experience through API integrations and UX improvements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement practices such as automation and CI/CD where applicable to streamline development workflows.

Skills & Experience:

Skills:

- Computer Science Fundamentals: Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
- Backend Development: Proficiency in at least one of the following server-side languages -Python, php.
- API Development: Experience working with external API integrations.
- Web Technologies: Solid understanding of HTTP protocols, JSON & XML.
- Frontend Development: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
- Multilingual Communication: Ability to communicate in English, Indonesian and, if possible, Chinese and Korean (not essential).

Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is mandatory.
