Aviair, formerly known as Slingair, was founded in 1984 and has been under local Kununurra ownership since April 2016. We are a multi-award-winning regional airline, with significant operations in Kununurra, Broome, Karratha, and Adelaide. With in-house aircraft maintenance facilities, we have approximately thirty aircraft including Beechcraft Super King Air, Cessna Citation Mustang, Cessna Grand Caravan, Pilatus PC-12’S and both twin and single piston engine aircraft. About the role
Description:
The Workforce Planning Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient allocation of flight crew resources, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and facilitating the smooth execution of flight operations. Their meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach contribute to the overall safety, reliability, and success of Aviair’s operations

Key Responsibilities:
•Roster Preparation and Publication: The coordinator is responsible for creating and disseminating accurate rosters that align with operational requirements and crew availability.
•Recency Verification: Ensuring that assigned pilots meet the company's and client's recency requirements, guaranteeing that only qualified personnel are scheduled for duty.
•Compliance Oversight: The coordinator meticulously reviews flight assignments to ensure adherence to regulatory mandates and award conditions, maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational compliance.
•Logistics Coordination: Planning and coordinating air transport, accommodation, and ground transport for flight crew, optimising resources to facilitate smooth transitions between assignments.
•Allowance, Annual Leave and Reimbursement Management: Assisting in managing allowance’s, annual leave requests and reimbursement claims for crew members, ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation is received and submitted
•Policy Adherence and Professional Development: The coordinator strictly adheres to all company policies and procedures, actively engaging in meetings, learning opportunities, and professional development to enhance operational effectiveness.
•Collaboration and Adaptability: Collaborating with Operations centre staff to address schedule disruptions and operational changes promptly, maintaining flexibility and adaptability in response to dynamic operational environments.

To be successful in this role
•A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar position with demonstrated experience in rostering according to regulatory and/or business requirements
•Previous aviation experience working in a flight operations department including familiarity with regulations around crew rostering is preferred
•A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
•Working knowledge of Air Maestro, or the capacity to learn and adapt to new software systems
•Possess well developed communication skills, both verbal and written
•Maintain a high level of confidentiality
•Ability to work flexibly with minimal daily supervision and guidance
