About the role: MSS Security is looking for a Workday Specialist to be the go-to for all things Workday. You will deliver solutions, support system enhancements, troubleshoot, manage security access, develop reports, and lead the next go-live phases. You will also coordinate large configuration builds with our AMS partner, translating operational needs into functional activities, supported by Operational Management, technical specialists, and administrators. This is a rare end-to-end opportunity to enhance our Workday system following the 2023 go-live. This full-time fixed-term role and can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane. Reporting to the National HRIMS Manager, the role works best for a Workday-certified professional with demonstrated experience in delivering operational excellence. Your duties in the role will include, but are not limited to: Providing end-to-end solutions to meet business needs, including configuration and implementation Working closely with People and Culture functional teams to provide support, deliver solutions and facilitate system enhancements Leading the implementation for next go-live phases (Expenses and Advanced Compensation) Escalating issues to external consultants where they cannot be configured internally Driving and promoting a culture to champion Workday Enhancing Workday HCM, Core and Advanced Compensation, Reporting, Expenses, Learning, and Payroll modules About you: Verifiable experience in Workday with the ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure Positive, motivated, solutions-focused, and able to work end-to-end on system enhancements Strong communicator, able to engage with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility, and empathy, including in remote working situations Experience working in organisations with large-scale workforce needs Ability to execute tasks with limited supervision, manage time effectively, and record work accurately Workday certified Full Australian working rights Willing to undergo a National Police check How to apply MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.
