About

We’re running a WordPress site using Elementor (Pro), and some of our custom styles have stopped loading. For example, classes like .gradient-background and .homepage-feature-title are no longer being applied. After restoring Elementor’s generated CSS files, styles are still missing, and global.css isn’t being generated. We also see JavaScript and PHP warnings in Elementor logs after recent updates, which may be related to the CSS not compiling properly. We’re looking for an experienced WordPress developer with deep Elementor knowledge who can: • Diagnose why Elementor-generated CSS (global.css and post-*.css) isn’t being created or loaded. • Fix missing styles so custom classes consistently load across the site. • Check and correct file/folder permissions under /wp-content/uploads/elementor/. • Resolve conflicts with caching/optimisation (WP Rocket, Cloudflare, etc. may be interfering). • Provide a safe, permanent way to house custom styles (child theme CSS or other best practice). • Ensure the Elementor Pro version and free version are correctly aligned. Requirements: • Proven Elementor Pro troubleshooting experience. • Strong understanding of WordPress file structures, CSS pipelines, and caching layers. • Ability to debug PHP notices/warnings and JS errors related to Elementor. • Experience setting up child themes and enqueueing CSS properly. • Bonus: familiarity with CDN/cache plugins (Cloudflare, WP Rocket, LiteSpeed).
