Sheffield Metal Fabrication has been in operation for over 30 years in Perth, an industry leader in light Metal Fabrication including wire work. We predominantly produce existing products and also do custom fabrication. We require a Trades assistant or general hand, who is keen to work independently once trained. The successful candidate would have experience, ultimately, in Wire Work, metal trades or similar and have experience using spot welders, Air Benders, hand tools, cutting and grinding power tools, and or plant equipment. They would have a sound work ethic and be motivated to help both other workshop staff and the Service Tech team to get the job done. They will have the ability to organise their own day using job sheets provided once training is complete.

Key Qualifications

• Must be a competent forklift driver and hold an up-to-date forklift licence.
• Current WA driver's licence.
• Will have experience working in a metal trade environment or mechanical industry.
• Experience with electrical trades would also be an advantage for an applicant.
• This role will be (38 hours a week) and a permanent role for the right applicant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour
