• Psychosocial Risk Management: You will be a key resource in identifying, assessing, and controlling psycho social risks in a community-based setting. This includes developing and implementing strategies to support the mental and emotional well-being of the community.

• Safety Partnership: Partner with all levels of the business to provide expert advice and direction on WHS matters. You'll be instrumental in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and strategic action plans.

• Risk Assessments: Conduct and review risk assessments, particularly for contractors and volunteers working across our various sites. You'll ensure all parties are working safely and in compliance with legislation.

Skills and Experience

• Technical Knowledge & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a WHS role with a focus on psycho social hazards and risk management.

  • Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in conducting risk assessments for contractors and volunteers.

  • Experience in conducting incident investigations, with an emphasis on hazard and causation identification.

• Qualifications:

  • Essential: Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.

  • Desirable: Qualifications in Training & Assessing, Auditing, or Incident Investigations.

• Soft Skills:

  • A proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, customer service, and continuous improvement.

• Desirable: Experience working within a government environment.
