Norton Livestock Handling Solutions are currently recruiting Welders/Metal Fabricators to join their team in Hastings VIC.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Interpreting drawings, specifications and engineering plans
- Fabricating sections and components from sheet metal, pipes, wood, fiberglass and other materials
- Welding, screwing, riveting and bolting components together to form finished products
- Cutting, shaping and grinding sheet metal and plastic to create panels
- Attaching axles, suspension assemblies, steering columns and brakes
- Carrying out alterations to chassis in accordance with engineering specifications
- Fitting mechanical components such as winches, cranes and hoists
- Building, repairing and modifying truck trays and bodies

Skills & Abilities:

- Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade or equivalent
- Experience working with Trucks and other heavy vehicles
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience.
