We specialise in:

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our workshop team in Esperance.

About the Role

As a Welder at Bedford Harbour Engineering, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality welding and fabrication work while maintaining strict safety standards.

Your duties will include:

* Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and measurements
* Selecting appropriate welding equipment and methods
* Welding components in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead)
* Inspecting and testing welds to ensure structural integrity
* Finishing products through grinding, polishing, and cleaning to achieve high-quality results
* Operating hand and power tools competently
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Minimum 3 years’ full-time experience in industrial welding and fabrication
* Trade qualification in Welding or similar (desirable)
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
* Solid understanding of welding processes and safety compliance
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team

Salary: $65,000 to $80,000 annually
