The Role
As a Welder/Fitter, you will fabricate and assemble trailer components using advanced welding and fitting techniques. This role requires precision, adherence to technical specifications, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will contribute to producing durable, high-quality trailers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding to construct trailer components to precise standards.
Fit and assemble metal parts based on technical drawings and specifications.
Inspect and maintain welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Adhere to workplace safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and quality requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:
Trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent).
Proven experience in MIG, TIG, and arc welding and fitting in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and procedures.
Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and operate machinery.

Desirable:
Experience in trailer or vehicle manufacturing.
Additional welding or fabrication certifications.
Familiarity with equipment maintenance practices.

Competitive Salary: $76,000- $80,000 per annum (plus 12% superannuation).
