Randstad is seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team in Canberra. If you have a passion for precision metalwork, a strong commitment to safety, and experience fabricating and assembling structural components, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay out, measure, and mark materials (such as steel, aluminum, or stainless steel) accurately prior to cutting and shaping.

• Fit and assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment to ensure proper alignment and dimensional accuracy before welding.

• Perform welding using various processes, including but not limited to SMAW (Stick), GMAW (MIG), and GTAW (TIG), on different materials and thicknesses.

• Operate fabrication tools such as plasma cutters, press brakes, shears, grinders, and torches safely and effectively.

• Inspect and test welds and products for defects and conformance to specifications, making necessary repairs.

• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
