Reilly Pastoral Co. is currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Welder to join their team in Dalby QLD.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Evaluate all engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications.
- Perform all welding position work with help of forming and cutting equipment.
- Provide assistance to production process and Mould various fixtures.
- Perform efficient welding of various metal objects with help of gas torch and welder.
- Perform repair to damaged alloy articles and prepare new articles with help of welding machines.
- Perform work with help of various hand and power tools.
- Analyze diagrams and specifications and cut all metal accordingly with help of welding torch.
- Assist to remove all soft metal for welding.
- Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks on products.
- Assemble old units and perform modification and repair work if required.
- Collaborate work with metal sheets and apply various insulation materials.
-Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
- Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machine.
- Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiseling and grinding.

Skills & Abilities

- Ideally have a Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication and or
- A Minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant field
- Competent Oxy cutting
- Competent MIG Welding
- Ability to adhere to workplace OH&S requirements.

Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience.
