About the Role
You will be working for a vibrant, innovative, expanding, company that prides itself as being a “solution” to our customers’ needs. With our business philosophy in mind your focus will be on meeting our customer’s requirements and expectations.
This role reports directly to the Workshop Manager.
We are offering an above the award wage and the rates be will be commensurate with the applicant's experience and qualifications.

Key responsibilities:
Interpret engineering plans and drawings for the repair and manufacture of Hook loaders, Skip loaders and Rear loader compactors
Independently measure out metal component requirements according to engineering drawings and choose appropriate welding techniques
Weld and fabricate metal components to assemble Hook loaders, Skip loaders and Rear loader compactors
Test and inspect welded joints for compliance
Install Hook Loaders, Skip loaders and Rear loader compactors

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role,
Relevant Welding Trade Qualifications
Be a competent Welder with at least 5 years work experience
Fitting and assembly experience required.
You must have a positive attitude.
Ability to follow directions and understand logical flow of work
Must be a Team Player but also work independently
Take pride in their workmanship with a strong attention to detail
Ability to work unsupervised
Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
Forklift Licence would be an advantage.
Uniforms and Product Training will be provided to the Successful Applicant.
