At our busy cafe, weekends are our busiest time and we are looking for a reliable and motivated Weekend Cook to join our team. Starting the morning with preparation of ingredients and setting up the kitchen for service, you’ll be responsible for cooking and plating our breakfast and lunch menu items to a consistent standard. Throughout the day you’ll manage multiple orders at once, keeping a clean and organised workspace while working closely with front-of-house staff to ensure meals are served quickly and presented well. You will follow food safety procedures at all times and assist with kitchen organisation, stock rotation, and general cleaning as needed. As service winds down, you’ll complete pack-down, store food correctly, and leave the kitchen ready for the next day. This role suits someone with previous experience in a busy café kitchen, who is confident under pressure and enjoys being part of a friendly and supportive team.
