We are seeking a skilled freelancer to conduct smoke testing on a live website, focusing on 20 specific pages. The testing will cover various devices and screen sizes, including desktop, mobile, and zoomed views. The goal is to audit navigation, forms, and performance, providing detailed feedback on speed, accessibility, and SEO. Issues will be documented in an Excel sheet provided by us. Scope of Work: You will be responsible for testing the website across multiple devices and conditions: Devices/Resolutions: Desktop (large screen and small screen) Mobile Desktop at 125% zoom Checks to perform: Navigation & Information Architecture (IA) Top 10 templates (layout consistency & issues) Forms: validation, field behaviour, error handling, microcopy, reassurance elements Error states (form submission, validation, loading, broken links) Review of loading behaviour (toasts, animations, responsiveness, error states) Cross-device responsiveness (desktop, iPad/tablet, mobile) Speed & performance feedback Accessibility review (basic WCAG 2.2 AA compliance check) SEO basics (meta tags, headings, alt text presence) Requirements: Prior experience with website smoke testing, QA, or accessibility checks Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards Familiarity with SEO and performance basics Ability to test across multiple devices/resolutions Detail-oriented and able to meet the 2-day deadline What to Include in your Proposal: Your estimated total hours to complete this scope Your budget/total cost for the job Timeline: Start immediately Must be completed within 2 days
