We’re looking for a tech-savvy generalist who’s comfortable wearing multiple hats from WordPress tweaks to backend development and basic server administration. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys diverse tasks, is eager to grow with a company, and thrives in a flexible startup environment. 🔧 What You'll Be Doing Customizing and optimizing our WordPress-based platform (RealHomes theme) Developing new features in PHP (e.g. custom plugins, APIs, backend tools) Improving web performance and user experience Assisting with basic server/networking tasks: backup strategies, failover planning, uptime optimization Acting as a technical allrounder across frontend/backend/support needs 💡 Ideal Skills Proficient with WordPress (themes, plugins, customization) Strong knowledge of PHP development Familiar with web performance tuning (e.g. caching, GTmetrix, Lighthouse) Basic understanding of Linux servers, web hosting, and networking Curious, open-minded, and willing to learn on the go Good communication and problem-solving skills 🌍 Bonus Points Spanish speakers: We have a partner company open to joint collaboration German language: Huge plus Experience with tools like Git, Docker, NGINX, cron jobs, backup tools 📉 Budget & Terms Budget is limited at the moment, but we're flexible: → Open to milestone-based projects → Or fair hourly rates depending on experience This is a long-term role for someone who's more interested in partnership and stability than quick gigs.
