With our head office in Rocklea and additional warehouses in North Lakes, Brendale, Loganholme, and Ormeau we are rapidly growing and seeking a highly motivated Warehouse ICT Support Technician.

In this newly created role, the Warehouse ICT Support Technician provides technical support and ensures the smooth operation of all warehouse information and communication technology systems. This role is responsible for maintaining hardware and software, supporting end-users, and ensuring that warehouse systems operate efficiently to enhance productivity, accuracy, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Determine software and hardware requirements to provide effective solutions to technical problems within the warehouse environment.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries about software and hardware problems from warehouse staff.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve ICT-related issues, either in person or remotely.
  • Repair and replace peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers, scanners, and modems.

Software & Application Management

  • Install, download, configure, and update appropriate software required for warehouse operations (e.g., inventory systems, scanning devices, dispatch software).
  • Adapt existing programs and systems to meet specific user or warehouse operational requirements.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective use of applications, systems, and equipment by providing training and support to staff.

Hardware & Systems Maintenance

  • Maintain, monitor, and ensure the reliability of computers, mobile devices, RF scanners, printers, and other ICT equipment used in warehouse operations.
  • Conduct regular system checks, backups, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Network & Infrastructure Management

  • Implement, maintain, and support the warehouse’s computer networks, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and communication systems.
  • Ensure network availability, security, and optimal performance across the warehouse facility.

Web & Digital Systems Support

  • Assist with designing, updating, and maintaining internal or external websites as required.
  • Support digital platforms used for communication, reporting, or warehouse management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of ICT hardware, software, networking, and system administration
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining system accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma, or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • At least 1 year of Experience in ICT support, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or industrial environment
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $77,000.00 per year
