Babajis consists of 2 very busy South Indian restaurants - Babajis Warburton in the Yarra Valley and Babajis Belgrave in the Dandenong Ranges. We also cater for off site at weddings and festivals across Victoria.

We have twice been awarded Chefs Hats at the Good Food Guide Awards, ’24 & ’25 and are featured in Time Out’s Top 49 restaurants in Melbourne ’25. Though foodie awards aside, honestly – we’re very down to earth, authentically us (we didn't use ai to write this) and a fun place to work.

Skills required:

· Experience in a busy restaurant. In peak season, we are very busy.

· You love learning about new cultures & new cuisines (we don't expect you to know the intricacies of our unusual cuisine (from Kerala, South India) - we'll teach you..

· You love where you live and sharing the best of the Yarra Valley with guests.

· ‘Community’ is important to you.

We do need availability at weekends and over the summer / Easter period though we try to be flexible – and welcome applications from single parents, those running their own business (& wanting some extra $ & social connection), etc…

And of course - award wages, superannuation, great staff parties and we have an incentives program as a thank you for being in our team.
