We are seeking an experienced Voice AI + Automation Engineer to join our team for ongoing work with on-call availability. The role involves working with UCaaS / RetellAI, SIP, Make.com, and Multichannel technologies to enhance our voice automation processes. We run a sophisticated Cloud voice platform and have Voice AI connected, built around RetellAI and are seeking a long-term freelance consultant/engineer to assist with: Configurations & system enhancements Fault finding & issue resolution On-call support Building and expanding integrations (including multichannel support) We already have: A voice PBX Cloud UCaaS system connected to RetellAI (handling live inbound/outbound calls) SIP connectivity is in place Automation flows using Make.com (voice AI → dynamic workflows)(Also new ones as we develop) Now we need someone who can: Diagnose and fix faults across RetellAI, SIP, Make.com, and connected workflows Configure and build new product flows using Make.com or similar (Zapier/n8n experience also welcome) Expand our communication channels — especially SMS, WhatsApp, and potentially Facebook Messenger and email Build robust error handling, logging, and alerting for the automation stack Optionally: Help improve API connectivity between platforms (RetellAI, SIP, CRM, etc.) Ideal Skills: RetellAI setup & JSON formatting SIP trunk configuration/understanding of VoIP environments Make.com (or other automation platforms like Zapier or n8n) SMS & WhatsApp integration (Twilio, WhatsApp Business API, etc.) REST APIs, Webhooks, Dynamic variable mapping Debugging and monitoring live production systems Strong documentation and communication Engagement Terms: Part-time/Ad-hoc with regular weekly work On-call availability preferred (within AEST timezone) Flexible working hours — remote OK Hourly or retainer options available To Apply: Please respond with: A summary of your relevant experience Examples of any IP Telephony / RetellAI / automation / SIP / multichannel work you've done Your hourly rate and availability (AEST preferred) Any links to previous voice automation projects or portfolios
