Johda is a science-driven, Korean-formulated men’s skincare start-up aiming to set a new gold standard: efficient, evidence-backed, and stigma-free skin health for the UK’s results-focused, time-poor men. We’re searching for someone who’s not just fluent in Korean (written & spoken!), but also a champion communicator, sharp problem solver, and love relationship-building tasks. Position: Virtual Assistant (Korean Liaison) 💪 🌎 100% Remote | Flexible | Small, ambitious team Why this role? - Hourly contractor rate: $5–15 USD to start - Grow with us- we’re just getting rolling, and your role can expand fast! - Fully remote, mostly asynchronous, work from anywhere - Direct impact: You’ll work closely with founders and shape the brand day-to-day - Learn, experiment, and be part of something fresh and meaningful Your Mission (should you choose to accept): - Hunt down and connect with Korean manufacturers who fit our needs - Vet suppliers for quality, certifications, capacity, and trustworthiness - Translate and help us communicate like natives (emails, calls, docs) - Build genuine, long-term relationships (not just deals) with Korean partners But that’s not all! We’re a startup - so expect variety! Example startup tasks: - Track supplier convos and manage communications - Organize sample shipments & handle timelines - Research packaging suppliers and new product ideas - Conduct market & competitor research for Johda - Keep docs and spreadsheets neat and up-to-date - Help optimize our internal workflows and bring new ideas - Tackle random admin tasks and 'whatever comes next'… we're fast-moving! What Makes You a Match: - Full fluency in Korean and English (written and spoken) - 2+ years VA experience (bonus for manufacturing or supply chain work!) - Ridiculously resourceful and proactive - Can build trust and get stuff done, solo and with the team - Organized, detail-oriented, allergic to dropping the ball - Startup mindset: flexible, creative, resilient - Heart-centered communicator -empathy, care, authenticity Extra brownie points for: - Consumer goods or supply chain experience - Startup or small business ops know-how - Familiarity with tools like Notion, Clickup, Slack - Passion for building things from zero to one Random bullet point if you’re paying attention: Add ‘code uncoded’ next to your name in your application.
