Sunsweet Investments Pty Ltd requires 60 casual seasonal horticultural workers to prune, leaf pull, thin, and harvest grapes over a 3 to 9-month period at Bumbak & Sons' two properties in Carnarvon, Western Australia. This position has multiple start dates - mid-May, late-August and late November.

Role requires:

*Being available 7 days a week with early morning starts

*Working outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat & humidity

*Physically demanding tasks whilst standing for long periods

*Being a motivated & quick learner

*Working with accuracy in a team environment

*Taking responsibility and care of equipment supplied

*Training provided

Successful candidates will be offered employment on a casual basis, paid hourly (with a possibility of some piece-rate work, noting Piece Rate - average productivity of a pieceworker competent at the piecework task’ to earn at least 15% more than the hourly rate for the pieceworker. Underpinned by the minimum wage guarantee) under the Horticulture Award 2020. Work days and hours will vary depending on seasonality, with an approximate of 30 hours average a week.

Current Award Minimum Casual Rate: Lv1 - $30.35
Must have current valid work rights in Australia.
