Seeking experienced full-time Cooks.

We operate a Vietnamese restaurant in Northbridge known as Viet Hoa Vietnamese Restaurant, and we are currently looking to employ reliable and experienced full-time Cooks to join our established kitchen team.
The successful candidates must be available to work both day and night shifts, have in-depth knowledge in the preparation and cooking of various popular Vietnamese cuisine, have at least 24 months of employment experience in a similar busy commercial kitchen operation, and possesses qualification which is at least equivalent to an Australian Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery. While not essential, the ability to converse fluently in Vietnamese may also be viewed upon favourably. The offer annual salary will be between $74,000 to $75,000 .
The duties to be carried out by the successful candidates will include:
• Prepare and cook various Vietnamese cuisine from the restaurant’s menu as per the customers' orders
• To assist the Head Chef to oversee the daily operations of the restaurant’s kitchen operations
• To assist the Head Chef to plan and prepare seasonal menus
• Assist in the cleaning of the kitchen areas, storeroom and refrigerators
• Regularly checked all food items to ensure adequacy and quality at all times
• Assist in recording inventory and keep records of ingredients used
• Maintained a clean and safe work environment
• Worked together in a team-oriented environment to produce foods in a timely and orderly fashion
• Inspect the work of other junior cooks to prevent food wastage
• Use considerable knowledge of health and safety procedures in food preparation
• Ensured that all orders were presented in a neat and appetizing manner
• Assist in ensuring correct procedures of stock rotation are used in the kitchen
