About
- Company Description
- Some seasons of life call for a different kind of vet role. If you are a few years out of uni, juggling a young family, study or other commitments and you still want to feel good about the medicine you practise, Nedlands might be a really nice fit.
- This is a three day week in a GP clinic with regular clients, an experienced Veterinary Director who enjoys teaching and the backing of Greencross so your development does not stall while you are working part time.
- About the role
- This is a permanent part time position with a predictable roster and space to keep growing.
- • 27 hours each week
- • One full weekday as the sole charge vet, with experienced nurses alongside you
- • 2 shorter sole charge Saturday shifts each month
- • General practice with good scope for dentistry and soft tissue surgery
- • No after hours work
- * On shared days your Veterinary Director is in clinic. On sole charge days you still have support on the phone and access to the wider Greencross clinical network if you want a second opinion or to talk through a case.*
- About the clinic and team
- Nedlands is a community focused small animal clinic with a lot of long term clients and young families. The team is in a building phase, so there is room for you to bring your ideas and help shape how the clinic runs and feels.
- Our Veterinary Director is a very experienced GP vet with strong skills in soft tissue surgery and dentistry, calm and practical, and she likes helping other vets feel more confident in theatre and in the dental room.
- The clinic is purpose built and set up so you can work cases up properly.

- • Dedicated surgical theatre with electrocautery and suction
- • Multiparameter monitoring Anitek and Suntech
