The Palace Hotel Kalgoorlie is seeking an experienced Venue Team Leader (Bar) to join our dynamic team. Located in the heart of Kalgoorlie and established in 1897, The Palace Hotel is a historic landmark offering accommodation, meals, and drinks across multiple venues, 7 days a week.

We are looking for a motivated and professional individual to take on a supervisory role within our bar operations, ensuring ahigh standard of service and assisting in the day-to-day running of a bar.

This is a full-time contract including living and working in the Goldfields DAMA region.

The annual pay range for this position is 76,515 - $78,000 plus superannuation.

The successful candidate must be flexible and able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and support bar/wait staff during service periods
-Training new team members and monitoring service quality
-Maintain stock levels, ordering, and ensure proper inventory management
-Provide excellent customer service and uphold presentation standards
-Staff rostering and shift coordination
-Ensure compliance with RSA and health and safety regulations
-Handle cash and POS transactions accurately

To be considered, you must have:

-Australian working rights
-RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification
-Approved Managers card
-Minimum 2 years’ experience in a bar or hospitality role, withsome supervisory responsibilities
-Strong leadership and communication skills
-Solid knowledge of beverage service, including cocktails andwine
-Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
