The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Venue Manager to lead our dynamic team and drive the continued success of Etsu Izakaya. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily venue operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards
• Lead, train, and inspire front-of-house and management teams
• Drive financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards and resolve guest concerns professionally
• Manage staffing levels, rosters, and recruitment
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and directors to enhance the venue offering

About You

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Venue Manager or Senior Restaurant Manager
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Proven ability to manage high-volume service
• Solid understanding of P&L management and cost control
• Current RSA (QLD)
• Passion for hospitality and Japanese cuisine culture
• Energetic, organised, and solutions-focused
