Our client, DRAKE TRAILERS PTY. LTD. t/as DRAKE TRAILERS, is looking for experienced Vehicle Painters.

The Drake Group is currently embarking on an exciting period of transformation and growth. As such, they are now accepting applications from experienced Vehicle Painters to join their Paint and Blast team based in Wacol. At the Drake Group, they have over 60 years of combined engineering and manufacturing experience, creating cutting-edge, high-quality products for both local and international markets. Their expertise also extends into the service, repair, and overhaul of heavy haulage trailers. They are the leaders in heavy haulage, with a reputation for being the best at what we do.

As an experienced Vehicle Painter you will be joining a specialised team dedicated to the preparation and painting of our heavy haulage trailers and components. If you are a Vehicle Painter looking for a long-term opportunity on afternoon shift, working a 4-day roster at a highly competitive rate, this is the position you have been looking for!

Your key responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for paint application
Ensure correct paint specifications are followed
Maintain tools and equipment in an efficient and safe operating condition
Perform quality inspections to ensure the finished product meets clients standards

What we are looking for:
Surface Preparation and Coating Application Trade Qualification (or similar)
Demonstrated experience as a vehicle spray painter
Ability to paint complex multi colour designs utilising 2K products.
Above average attention to detail with proven track record for quality.
