Teach AI to understand everyday Icelandic conversation! AI still struggles with the way Icelandic is spoken and written across different regions. In this project, you’ll help improve Icelandic language content by verifying audio and text or segmenting natural conversations. Your work will help make AI tools more accurate, natural, and regionally authentic for Icelandic speakers everywhere. What you'll do For Audio-Text Verification: ▷ Check that the audio matches the provided text exactly ▷ Correct any discrepancies between audio and text ▷ Edit audio if there are mispronunciations or flaws For Sentence Segmentation: ▷ Listen to native speakers’ daily conversations ▷ Segment the audio into individual sentences using audio editing software What you'll get ▷ Flexible hours — work when it suits you ▷ Work from home ▷ Gain experience in AI language annotation What you'll need ▷ Native Icelandic speaker ▷ Fluent in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Icelandic ▷ Proficiency in English to communicate with the project team ▷ Access to a quiet workspace and a laptop/desktop Project details ▷ Duration: September 18 – December 31 ▷ Daily Workload: 3–4 hours Join us in shaping accurate and natural Icelandic language content for AI and global learners!
