- Job Description
- TV Programming Intern is part of the Programming team reporting to the Program Manager.
- Responsible for providing support and administrative assistance across the programming department working on multiple channels.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Metadata input in to broadcast systems
- Build knowledge of NBCU broadcasts systems
- Assist Senior Programmer & Programmer across linear and VOD channels
- Create the Monthly Programming Priorities
- 7Bravo Monthly Picture grids
- Monthly Highlights document + distribution to SKY New Zealand
- Sales AU & NZ Calendar updates
- Monthly Key Programming Priorities submission
- Monthly Oxygen metadata submission
- Monthly VOD Priorities for Bravo NZ
- Inter-department cross functional tasks
- Ensure all deadlines are met
- Assist with ad hoc programming related tasks
- Qualifications
- Basic Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proactive, accurate, and detail oriented
- This part time role requires a 9-month commitment, from February 2026 - November 2026
- You also MUST include a cover letter stating the month and year you graduate, why you would like to work for NBCUniversal, and what you feel you can bring to the role. This is an integral of the application process
- Desired Characteristics
- Currently completing and degree in Media, Communications or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook and Excel in particular
- An interest in working in media and developing a career within the broadcast industry
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
