As our operations grow, we are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our team.
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Truck Driver to operate company vehicles for the safe and efficient transport of general freight in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate heavy vehicles for short-haul and long-distance freight transport.
• Load, secure, deliver, and unload goods in accordance with safety and compliance standards.
• Conduct pre-departure checks, routine vehicle inspections, and report maintenance requirements.
• Follow scheduled delivery routes and maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
• Comply with NHVR regulations, fatigue management rules, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and company safety standards.
• Represent the business professionally when interacting with clients and customers.
Skills & Experience Required
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Truck Driver operating heavy vehicles.
• Current HR/HC/MC licence (as applicable to vehicle class).
• Strong understanding of road transport legislation, fatigue management, and Chain of Responsibility.
• Experience in loading/unloading, cargo securing, and operating manual/automatic heavy vehicles.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and follow delivery schedules.
• Good communication skills and strong safety awareness.
Position: Permanent Full-time (minimum 38 hours per week)
Location: Cloverdale WA 6105
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation (depending on experience)
