Salary: $81,000 plus 12% superannuation

Our client Sainiz Haulage Pty Ltd ATF Shivalik Family Trust is a Western Australia–based general freight transportation company specialising in the reliable and efficient movement of goods across the region. The company provides a wide range of freight services, including palletized freight, commercial haulage such as grain transport, and tipper transport services for sand, aggregates, soil, and other construction materials. With a commitment to safety, timeliness, and exceptional service, the business plays a critical role in supporting clients across logistics, agriculture, and the construction industry.

The client is seeking two full-time skilled and experienced Truck Drivers to join its growing team and support the business’s expanding logistics and transport operations. These positions are integral to ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods, directly contributing to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the company’s continued success.

This position is critical for the business as it directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. A skilled Truck Driver ensures that deliveries are made on schedule, maintaining the company's reputation and supporting its financial success.

Requirements:
• AQF Certificate II or III in Driving Operations with at least one year of relevant experience
• Minimum one year of full-time industry experience, preferably within general freight, grain, or construction haulage.
• Valid MC (Multi Combination License) driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Good knowledge of GPS, electronic logbooks, and other navigation tools.

Key responsibilities are set out below:
• Safely operate company trucks, including tippers and freight vehicles, to transport goods to specified destinations across Western Australia.
• Transport a range of freight including palletized goods, grain, aggregates, sand, soil, and other construction materials.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring goods are secured and protected during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel usage reports.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, fatigue management guidelines, and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams regarding delivery progress, delays, or issues.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries, ensuring positive client interactions.
• Report and assist in arranging vehicle maintenance and repairs when required.
• Maintain truck cleanliness, upkeep, and safe operating condition at all times.

Ideal candidate will have:
• Strong understanding of WA road safety regulations and heavy vehicle transport compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to handle various trucks and trailers, including tipper trucks.
• Physically fit with the ability to manage manual handling, loading, and securing cargo.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills to meet delivery schedules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and client interaction.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for minor on-road maintenance and troubleshooting.
