Essential Skills and Attributes Demonstrated interest in early childhood education and a commitment to professional learning and development. Basic verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and contribute positively to the service environment. Punctuality and a sense of responsibility, recognizing the importance of consistency for children. Desirable Skills and Knowledge Any prior experience with children, such as babysitting, coaching, or volunteering, can be beneficial, even if it's not in a formal educational setting. Some initial awareness of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) would be advantageous.
