Your unique contribution As Trade Spend Analyst, you will report into the Commercial Finance Manager. You will be responsible for the collating, validating, and processing of all trade spend (allowances and discounts) including the reconciliation of claims. Working closely with the Sales team you will actively participate in the management of our trade spend accruals. Your unique contribution Generate correct accruals by completing rolling forecast based on the sales model in TPM tool (Trade Promotion Management) Collating and validating claims, investigate discrepancies and communicate to sales team for review and approval Reconciling all outstanding claims/rebate and provide a summary report Reconciling the Trading Terms General Ledger and other Allowances and Discounts accounts Preparing Claims summary report and provide commentary on A&D expenditures Provide A&D analysis as required by Sales team, SBA or BA Your perfect blend of Talent As well as having an impressive blend of entrepreneurial spirit, mutual trust, and ethical commitment, you will also bring: Tertiary qualifications in Business / Commerce / Finance and/or Accounting Initial experience within finance preferably within a FMCG company Intermediate skills within Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to provide accurate analysis autonomously Analytically minded with ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data Confident communication to be able to converse with stakeholders at all levels Become a creator de conviviality!
