About
The Game: - Web-based (HTML5/JavaScript), hosted online and kiosk-ready. - Players tap solar panels to add MW of power and hold on batteries to “charge” them. - As panels/batteries activate, homes light up on a map and a scoreboard updates with totals (MW, MWh, homes powered, $ savings, CO₂ removed). - Simple animations: panels glow, batteries fill, electricity moves on wire, numbers animate. - A “Start Again” button resets the game for the next user. - See mockup design example attached. Suggested Skills Needed: - Strong in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript. - Experience with game frameworks (Phaser.js, Pixi.js) or animation libraries (GSAP). - UI/UX design for clean, intuitive touchscreen play. Touchscreen Kiosks Used: - 2 x Skape 42L Kiosk w/ Windows 10 installed, 16:9 ratio. Other: - Will provide design files to assist with design direction. - Must be available for troubleshooting on dates in the Deliverables. Have you built interactive touchscreen games or kiosk activations before? Can you share an example? Which frameworks do you have experience with for web-based games like this? Have you integrated scoreboards before that dynamically update with animations? Can you make the game responsive so it works on both large touchscreen kiosks and iPads? What’s your typical turnaround time for a project of this size (2 versions, simple gameplay)?
