Key Accountabilities:
Conduct field inspections and monitor compliance with tobacco and vaping laws
Support investigations and enforcement actions, including licensing and covert operations, applying your keen analytical and observational skills in real-world settings
Prepare and assist with official documentation, including ministerial briefings and correspondence
Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at continuous improvement within our regulatory programs
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and community partners
Key Requirements:
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to interpret complex legislation
- You should possess excellent interpersonal skills to navigate challenging interactions with professionalism and composure
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, adapting flexibly to diverse environments and locations
- Current driver's license is essential
- Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight stays
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations is desirable but not a prerequisite
This is an in-person, full-time role involving a combination of office and field work.
