About the role The Brand Manager- Telfast is responsible for a significant contribution to the strategic direction of the brand/segment and delivery via product and promotional innovation to consumers. This includes all aspects of consumer marketing namely, communication, new product development, go to market, packaging, claims and promotions. You will be a project champion who can influence cross-functional stakeholders to ensure flawless execution. You will participate in the development, implementation and post analysis of marketing programs, whilst consulting with key internal and external customers as required. Main responsibilities Successful implementation of brand strategies through appropriate elements of the promotional mix. Utilise consumer insights to write effective communication briefs Optimise brand investment opportunities through Return on Investment (ROI) analysis and successful management of Advertising and Promotion budget Manage relations with advertising and other external agencies Interpret brand performance data, identify and prioritise strategies and actions to better deliver brand positioning and improve brand performance Research and analyze market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to develop insights and strategies for brand activation initiatives Work collaboratively alongside the cross-functional brand team through the development of working relationships with (innovation, regulatory affairs, shopper, sales, finance and other Commercial Business Units) to identify risk and opportunities for Telfast Ensure all business and promotional activities comply with relevant acts, legal demands and ethical standards, including ASMI and Opella code of conduct Contributing to the annual growth brand planning process Develop/Localise campaigns, liaising with legal and Reg teams for approval and Media & Digital for execution with agencies Liaise with global and regional marketing teams (as required within role) to deliver breakthrough activations across advertising, communications, product experiences, and co-marketing efforts Design and execute innovative activation plans that leverage presence at POS, digital & social media, and other channels Cross-functional influencing to ensure delivery of marketing strategies and operational requirements Oversee the design of go-to-market programs to ensure achievement of objectives around brand activation and digital presence Lead the digital strategy working closely with the digital team to develop a clear content strategy that meets the brand's online marketing objectives Identify, curate, and adapt marketing concepts and ideas to build a stronger online brand presence and explore relevant digital partnership opportunities to drive customer engagement About you Qualifications: Degree qualified in relevant Business or Marketing field (or similar) Experience: Previous Brand Manager, Trade Marketing, or Marketing Insights role within the FMCG or Consumer Healthcare industry Working knowledge of market segmentation, targeting, brand positioning and architecture Use of multiple sources of external and internal data to translate insights into actionable outcomes Ability to trade off the most effective mix of touch points to achieve communications objectives Skills: Well-developed financial acumen - Understand financial principles and be comfortable to manage budget Can demonstrate effective application of market research principles, techniques and data Ability to provide balanced, directional feedback to agencies to achieve the best outcomes Implement complex marketing programs; managing multiple priorities as needed, on time and to budget Project champion who can lead all relevant parties in flawless execution Excellent planning, time management and presentation skills Autonomy and ability to balance long-term strategic priorities with short-term business needs Team spirit and highly collaborative with all cross-functional partners, flexibility to adapt to the ever-changing business environment Why us?
