Technical Sales Representative - Metal Kewdale, WA About the Role Based at Kewdale and reporting to the Account Manager West Metal, the Technical Sales Representative supports sales growth by providing technical advice, managing customer relationships, promoting products, and ensuring safety and compliance on-site. Key responsibilities include: Conduct product testing on a regular basis, including installation, component, pull and tension tests. Maintain optimum liaison with customers in each allocated territory. Liaise with Technical Staff of customers to monitor any changes in attitude or requirements. Liaise with Purchasing/Stores Personnel to monitor demand fluctuations. Work closely with customers to continually improve and add value to their business, at the same time recognising the implications of our actions on profitability. Ensure that company products are performing to the satisfaction of customers. Assist the Regional Sales Manager in the preparation of annual sales and cost budget for regional operations Recognize and encourage new product development opportunities, ensure customers are aware of full product range. Provide monthly reports on regional activities and performance to budget to Regional Sales Manager. Ensure all relevant mine site medicals and inductions are up to date at all times. About You: You bring a strong combination of technical knowledge and customer-focused sales experience to the Technical Sales and Service Representative role. With your ability to understand complex technical concepts and apply them in customer-facing situations, you’re well-equipped to provide expert advice, conduct product testing, and ensure product performance meets expectations. Your proactive mindset helps drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and promoting the full product range. You also bring excellent communication, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement—making you a valuable contributor to the team.
