Benefits Salary range:   $100,000 to $110,000 per Annum + Superannuation Task & responsibilities As a Business Development Representative, you will: Generate new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective referral partners and clients. Conduct discovery conversations with partners and prospective customers to assess needs, explain Felix Finance’s services, and determine fit. Explain and position mortgage products (home loans, refinancing solutions, and government-backed lending programs) in line with customer needs, and relative to other competitor products in the market. Support the end-to-end sales pipeline by booking qualified appointments, preparing referrals for mortgage brokers, and ensuring smooth handover. Maintain technical knowledge of loan products, eligibility criteria, lender credit policies, and government concessions to accurately represent Felix Finance. Monitor customers changing needs and competitor activity from referral partners and customers to improve sales strategies, service delivery, and customer experience. Achieve activity and conversion targets , reporting pipeline performance and contributing to the company’s growth strategy. Manage lender relationships  to ensure we have the best possible solutions and sharpest rates available to our clients. Preparing sales reports and maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred.  Qualification & experience A bachelors degree  An Australian Mortgage Broker qualification Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a business development or sales role in the finance or property industries  Who you are A confident communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Experienced in sales, business development, or customer engagement - ideally in financial services, property, or a related technical sales role. A quick learner who can master complex products (mortgage structures, loan eligibility criteria, and first-home buyer schemes).  Target-driven, persistent, and motivated by results.  Organised and able to manage multiple partner relationships and opportunities simultaneously. A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
