The School combines six scholarly and creative disciplines - Art History, English and Writing, Film, Media and Communication, Theatre and Performance, and the Sydney College of Art - to form one of Australia's most vibrant schools of the arts and humanities. We are seeking a Teaching and Curriculum Officer to join the team to provide a broad range of administrative support in the development and delivery of teaching and curriculum activities across the school. Your key responsibilities will be to: deliver administrative support for teaching activities including result processing, prize and scholarship award, room bookings and enquiries management using University, Faculty and School system platforms assist with coordination of the school’s curriculum information on the University’s online systems as well as the School’s web pages, intranet and publications support the School and Disciplinary coordinators, and related School committees, preparing agendas, taking minutes, keeping accurate records and following-up any actions liaise with relevant Faculty and central PSU to establish effective working relationships in relation to case or issue management. About you previous experience in the higher education/tertiary sector and working knowledge of student academic activities excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office (in particular Excel) and experience operating with large, corporate-level database and information systems ability to problem solve, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, achieve required outcomes and attention to detail effective and tactful communication skills (both verbal and written) together with the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement.
