Job Title: Systems Analyst
Company: IVEGA GROUP PTY LTD
Location: Suite 2, 1 Horwood Place, Parramatta, NSW 2150
Salary: $120,000 to $130,000 (Excluding Superannuation)

Role Summary

The Systems Analyst is responsible for analysing business and technical requirements, evaluating enterprise systems, and translating requirements into functional system specifications. The role also provides DevOps and cloud advisory input to support system reliability, automation, and efficient deployment practices, while remaining primarily focused on systems analysis and solution design.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Analysis & Design:

Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional system requirements in consultation with stakeholders.

Evaluate existing on-premise and cloud-based systems to identify performance gaps, integration issues, and improvement opportunities.

Translate requirements into system architecture designs, workflow models, interface specifications, and functional documentation.

Work closely with architects and development teams to validate solution designs and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Define data flows, system integrations, and interface dependencies across enterprise platforms.

DevOps & Cloud Enablement (Supporting)

Provide DevOps-oriented system analysis input to improve automation, deployment consistency, and operational efficiency.

Review and recommend CI/CD pipeline designs from a system and process perspective to support reliable application delivery.

Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to analyse deployment workflows, monitoring strategies, and incident trends.

Support infrastructure-as-code and cloud platform initiatives by reviewing system impacts, security considerations, and compliance requirements.

Participate in incident analysis and root cause investigations, recommending system-level improvements to enhance reliability and availability.

Testing, Implementation & Support

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining test scenarios and validating system behaviour against requirements.

Assist with change impact analysis, release planning, and post-implementation reviews.

Ensure systems comply with security, governance, and regulatory standards.

Maintain comprehensive documentation including BRDs, FRDs, system design documents, and operational handover materials.

Tools & Environment Exposure (Contextual, Not Core)

Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure

CI/CD environments (Git-based pipelines, automated deployments – oversight level)

Containerised and microservices-based systems

Monitoring and logging platforms (system analysis perspective)

Skills & Competencies

Must have two years of Australian experience as Systems Analyst

Systems analysis and solution design

Cloud and DevOps process understanding

Stakeholder engagement and requirement translation

System integration and interface analysis

SDLC (Agile & Waterfall)

Risk, impact, and dependency assessment

UAT support and validation

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
