Support Worker – Gilgandra NSW 2827 (Up to 30 hrs/week) Female Client | Community Access | Employment Support | Animals & Lifestyle Supports We are seeking a reliable, engaging, and supportive Support Worker to assist a 23-year-old female client, who lives in Gilgandra, NSW 2827. The role begins at 4 hours per shift (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and may increase to up to 30 hours per week. About the Client Vibrant young woman with ASD and ADHD. She is highly functional, independent in many areas, and enjoys a variety of community-based activities. She has a strong passion for animals, helping others, and staying active in her community. Key Responsibilities Provide community access support, including attending programs and social activities. Support her regular volunteering activities such as Meals on Wheels and other community programs. Assist in job preparation, including job searches, resumes, interview practice, and developing work readiness skills. Help explore and secure suitable employment opportunities in Dubbo, ideally in roles that involve animals. Support in building confidence, independence, daily living skills, and routine planning. Encourage positive social engagement and help her participate safely in activities she enjoys. About You To be successful in this role, you will be someone who: Has experience or a strong interest in supporting clients with ASD / ADHD. Is patient, understanding, and able to build rapport with young adults. Is proactive and confident in helping a client prepare for work. Loves animals or is comfortable participating in animal-related activities with the client. Has flexibility for increasing hours as the client's needs grow. Mandatory Requirements NDIS Worker Screening Check Working With Children Check (WWCC) First Aid & CPR Driver’s Licence & reliable vehicle ABN (if subcontracting) Relevant disability/ community experience preferred
