We specialise in commercial and residential services covering ceiling and partition systems, cladding, bricklaying, tiling, insulation supply, and integrated construction material distribution. Due to continued expansion across multiple states, we require a skilled Supply & Distribution Manager to oversee procurement planning, supplier relationships, and the distribution of materials to our rapidly growing project portfolio.

Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Supply & Distribution Manager to lead and manage the company’s procurement function, including sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations, tender management, contract management, demand forecasting and procurement planning. The successful candidate will work closely with our team and other department’s managers to ensure reliable, efficient and cost-effective procurement across all business divisions

This role requires strong analytical capability, excellent bilingual communication skills and the ability to coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, logistics partners and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Supplier Management: Manage and negotiate with local and interstate suppliers to secure favourable pricing, delivery terms and material quality. Maintain supplier performance records and implement improvement strategies.

Inventory & Stock Control: Oversee stock forecasting, reorder strategies and in-stock material levels to ensure uninterrupted supply. Analyse material usage across projects to optimise inventory turnover and reduce waste.

Distribution & Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate daily and weekly deliveries to multiple project sites across QLD, NSW and WA. Liaise with transport providers to ensure timely, compliant and safe delivery of construction materials. Resolve delivery delays, discrepancies or supply interruptions promptly.

Project Support: Work with Project Managers and Purchase Officers to understand material specifications, project schedules and operational requirements. Prepare material distribution plans aligned with project timelines.

Compliance & Documentation: Ensure procurement and logistics operations comply with WHS, industry standards and company policies. Maintain purchase orders, delivery dockets, supplier agreements and logistics records.

Budgeting & Cost Management: Monitor supply chain costs and assist in developing procurement budgets.Identify opportunities to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.

Continuous Improvement: Analyse supply chain performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and operational capacity.

Requirements:

Experience:

- At least 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, supply chain operations, category management or distribution roles.

- Experience with large-scale or high-volume enterprises operating in fast-paced industries.

- Demonstrated experience in managing extensive supplier networks, coordinating production resources and supporting complex, multi-site business operations.

Qualification:

Diploma or higher qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, E-commerce, Procurement, or related disciplines is preferred.

Skills:

Demonstrated capability in negotiating pricing, contracts and supplier partnerships to achieve cost optimisation across the supply chain.
Excellent bilingual communication skills, with strong vendor management and cross-functional coordination abilities, including experience collaborating across procurement, production, marketing and sales teams.

Commitment: Ability to commit to a full-time role for at least three (3) years, due to the long-term nature of procurement planning, supplier relationship development and multi-year distribution strategies across multiple business divisions.
