The client is seeking a dedicated, proactive and energetic team player to fill a full-time position for a skilled and experienced Supply and Distribution Manager to plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the supply, storage and distribution of products.

You will be required to control the supply and distribution operations with the goal of achieving cost savings and customer satisfaction. You will maintain the company’s required stock levels in a manner which is cost-effective with minimal stock write-off by preparing, executing, and overseeing the supply, storage and distribution plan.

Minimum Requirements:
• At least one year experience in a similar role and a relevant bachelor’s degree.

Key Accountabilities:
• Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans
• Overseeing overseas purchasing, with approximately 70–80% of goods sourced directly from China, including supplier negotiation, freight coordination, and import logistics.
• Travelling to other states as required to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and distribution partners.
• Preparing and implementing plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost
• Plan and improve distribution processes to ensure optimal supply timing, minimizing processing errors and preventing end-of-line delivery issues
• Liaise with inbound and outbound logistics; foster positive relations with drivers and suppliers
• Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements
• Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels
• Operating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times
• Liaising with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation
• Overseeing the recording of purchase, storage, and distribution transactions
• Directing staff activities and monitoring their performance
• Reviewing and developing processes and procedures that will continually improve all supply and distribution functions and stock control at minimum cost
• Follow all safe working procedures

To be considered for this role you must have;
• Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain operations, logistics coordination, inventory management, budgeting and cost control
• Proven ability to plan, manage and monitor supply and distribution activities, ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels
• Capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven operational environment while maintaining accuracy and service standards
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability, with the ability to take ownership of operational issues and implement practical solutions under pressure
• Well-developed strategic planning, analytical and reporting skills to support distribution strategy, demand
forecasting and continuous operational improvement
