Job Description The Opportunity We’re growing our Perth Operations and looking to strengthen our team. As we expand our capabilities across current and upcoming major infrastructure projects, we’re seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to join our Supervision team. This is a key leadership opportunity to drive project delivery and play a pivotal role in shaping some of Western Australia’s most significant infrastructure works. As a Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. With strong leadership skills and a commitment to operational excellence, you will coordinate and manage teams, subcontractors, and resources to drive project success. Key Responsibilities Assume a leadership role in the management of health, safety, and environmental concerns. Address issues related to industrial relations and their consequences while developing suitable resolutions. Maintain compliance in commercial and financial management, including achieving budgetary targets and identifying cost-saving strategies. Proactively explore methods to enhance productivity through adjustments in sequencing, timing, or methodologies. Evaluate progress relative to plans, contractual obligations, and delivery milestones to ensure they align with schedules, quality standards, and cost estimates, taking corrective actions as necessary. Effectively communicate construction plans to supervisors and the general workforce. Contribute to identifying training needs and coordinate personnel release for training purposes. Ensure that construction personnel are informed about and adhere to company policies and procedures. Required Skills and Competencies About You Demonstrated expertise in industry-specific trades and construction operations of comparable magnitude. Proficient in overseeing the performance of subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour, while effectively managing people. Competent in the examination of design documentation, with the capability to interpret drawings, conduct constructability assessments, and execute final design plans. Extensive leadership background in risk management, fostering a proactive culture of risk mitigation and positive risk management.
