Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology (EAIT) Two full-time positions available: one permanent position and one fixed-term position until July 2026 Base salary will be in the range $82,133 - $91,295 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5) Based at our St. Lucia Campus About This Opportunity We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Student and Academic Administration Officer to play a vital role in delivering high-quality support to students and academic staff within the Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology (EAIT) Faculty. As a key member of the Student Administration team, you will provide professional advice, efficient service, and accurate information across a wide range of student lifecycle activities – from admissions and enrolments through to graduation. In this dynamic and student-focused role, you will work closely with colleagues, the Associate Dean (Academic), and the Manager, Student & Academic Administration to ensure smooth operations, clear communication, and positive experiences for both staff and students. Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Deliver high-quality administrative support across the student lifecycle, including admissions, enrolments, credit, progression, graduation, and related activities. Provide accurate and timely advice to students and staff on student administration matters, ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures. Maintain and update University systems and databases to ensure information is current, accurate, and aligned with reporting requirements. Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting the development and implementation of efficient processes and practices within the Student Administration team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, and excellent attention to detail. Ability to prioritise competing work demands in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines. Knowledge of student administration, both domestic and international, undergraduate, and postgraduate, including admissions, enrolments, examinations, and graduation. Problem solving skills using judgement and reasoning in interpreting situations and providing accurate and consistent advice, particularly in relation to policies and procedures. Proficiency at an advanced level using student administration systems, computer software packages for word-processing and spreadsheets. Commitment to and enthusiasm for the provision of excellent client service. Ability to operate flexible across the range of functions within the Faculty Office and to work as a member of a team. The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check, blue card check.
