Mount Isa Pets & Produce require three (3) warehouse assistant/Forklift operator workers.
The position is required to perform tasks such as; receiving of freight, picking, packing and loading orders for customers and freight operators as well as ensuring that the warehouse is kept in a clean and orderly manner. A forklift licence is essential to unload and load pallets of goods received into store from suppliers and to load goods onto freight operators for customers. It is essential that general maintenance of equipment is performed as well as the surrounds of the warehouses, this includes lawn and weed maintenance of the workplace. The job role is in Mount Isa Queensland.

The day-to-day duties may include:

Keeping the warehouses clean and orderly, ensuring all items are stored correctly and safely. Ensuring customer orders are packaged and loaded correctly onto freight carriers and into customers personal vehicles. Checking incoming products for damage and correct contents. Organizing and storing the stock as per directions. Delivering customer orders to their respective businesses, homes or horse paddocks.
Ensuring that business surrounds are kept neat and orderly, such mowing, whipper snipping and weed management. Taking excess rubbish to the waste management facility.

You will be required to use tools and equipment such as a Forklift and truck, smaller equipment that being a lawnmower, whipper snipper and general garden tools as well as other equipment appropriate to the work. The personality to work in a team with others and have the ability to work quickly and with accuracy.

The Work is physical and includes mostly outdoors as well as some indoor exposure.

You will be employed on a (full-time) basis under the terms and conditions of the Level 2 employee under the general Retail Award (MA000004) and receive a minimum of 38 hours per week.
