Griffith City Smash Pty Ltd are currently seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Store Person to join their busy workshop in Griffith NSW.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Store Person is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring the
highest standards of accuracy, safety, and customer service. This role is key to maintaining smooth
operations in the warehouse and supporting the sales team to deliver exceptional service to ARB
customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inventory & Stock Control

- Receive, check, and record incoming stock deliveries.
- Ensure stock is accurately stored, labelled, and rotated.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Report and resolve stock discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Dispatch & Logistics

- Pick, pack, and prepare customer and trade orders for collection or delivery.
- Coordinate freight and courier bookings to meet customer deadlines.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records.

• Warehouse Organization & Safety

- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with ARB and WHS standards.
- Safely operate forklifts and manual handling equipment (where licensed/trained).
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and proactively identify hazards. • Customer & Team Support
- Assist sales staff in locating and supplying stock for customer enquiries.
- Provide friendly, professional service when dealing directly with customers and
suppliers.
- Work collaboratively with the sales and workshop teams to meet customer needs.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Physically fit with the ability to safely handle heavy items.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Previous experience in a warehouse, storeman, or logistics role preferred.
- Current forklift license (or willingness to obtain).
- Basic computer literacy (inventory systems, email, data entry).
- Knowledge of automotive or 4x4 accessories (advantage but not essential).

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

- Stock accuracy (minimal discrepancies).
- Order fulfilment completed on time and in full.
- Compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
- Positive internal and external customer feedback.

Salary range is $65,000 - 75,000pa commensurate with skills and experience
