We’re looking for an energetic, full-time Store Manager for our Wetherill Park store, who has a passion for service excellence & a ‘can-do’ attitude. The successful candidate will be responsible for retail fundamentals, including outstanding customer service, reporting, promotions, and merchandising standards. You will help achieve sales and profitability growth, whilst while maintaining a productive, and safe work environment. You will work closely with other Store Managers and the Trade team to implement and maintain sales growth within our Company Owned Stores and continue to strive for service excellence within the paint industry. Responsibilities Demonstrate exceptional customer service, accountability, ownership, teamwork, promoting engagement and offering solutions. Maintain the team's knowledge, skills, and behaviors to ensure a successful store culture. Tinting & mixing paint, palletizing paint drums, arranging orders for delivery & color matching. Deliveries using the Store vehicle. Inventory, ordering, stock replenishment Assisting to grow store revenue and targets and hitting KPI’s. Maximizing the sales approach to focus on the features and benefits of PPG products. Assisting to implement marketing and promotional plans to maximize sales potential. Maintain and continue development of customer relationships. Offering advice/solutions to customers, both trade and retail. Operate point of sale system and prepare sales invoices following company policy. Deliver store customer service standards by demonstrating and coaching colleagues the 4x3 Customer Service Protocol – Welcome, Understand, Solution, and Sell. Increase sales using the 4x3 Selling Application System – Preparing, Prime and Seal, Finishing. Assist to achieve and adhere to Store standards, including EHS, training & housekeeping. Uphold and maintain the highest levels of safety for all team, customers & contractors. Training Attend PPG state-based training – trade product, 4x3 Customer Service Protocol & Selling Application System. Undertake sales techniques, store presentations, customer service, and ethics training. Help with the training of team. On offer Ongoing product training in a market leading brand. Experience in retail sales, with a strong customer focus, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Visual Merchandising experience preferred, not essential. An eye for detail, with a focus on safety and driving sales results. Comfortable with technology - computer literacy is a must. Available Monday – Friday between 6.30am – 4.30pm for a 38 hour work week. Occasionally weekend Saturday work may be required. Requirements Previous Assistant Store Manager or Experienced Sales Assistant. A valid driver’s license. Permanent Working Rights. Paint industry experience is not mandatory – training can be provided.
