The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Specialty Gas Chemist to join our dynamic production team. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical chemistry knowledge, attention to detail and eager to learn the specifics of specialty gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare specialty gas mixtures using the gravimetric method in compliance with ISO 17034.
Analyse, and certify specialty gas mixtures to meet ISO 17025 and ISO 17034 requirements.
Operate and maintain high-precision analytical instruments (e.g., FTIR, GC).
Conduct stability studies, validation, and quality control testing of gas mixtures.
Optimise production and blending processes for accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Maintain detailed records, reports, and traceability for all analytical work.

About You
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (last year students might be considered).
Experience in gravimetric preparation of gas mixtures is highly valued, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and metrological traceability.
Familiarity with ISO 17025, ISO 17034, and/or ISO 9001 standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Commitment to laboratory safety and continuous improvement.
