Situated in the heart of the CBD, The Art House Hotel exudes inner-city retro chic. The heritage-listed venue dates back to 1836 when it served as The School of Arts. Now it is home to a Restaurant, Cocktail Bar and Functions & Event Space.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Sous Chef who is ready to step up and contribute meaningfully to an outstanding food offering.

The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen brigade to maintain the high culinary standards of The Art House Hotel and plays a pivotal role in daily operations, staff training, quality control, and menu execution. This is a full-time position.

Essential Criteria:

· Relevant Diploma or higher qualification and at least one year of relevant experience or alternatively at least three years of relevant experience
· Have a passion for hospitality and all that it means
· Be able to lead by example
· Be able to multitask and prioritise the right things at the right times when busy
· Be hard working, dynamic and have respect
· Ability to work under pressure

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 plus super, depending on experience.
