What We’re Looking For We’re seeking talented and dedicated Sous Chefs to join our dynamic kitchen teams. If you’re passionate about food, thrive in fast-paced environments, and love leading by example, we’d love to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensuring efficient and timely service, working closely with the front-of-house team
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assisting the Head Chef in menu development and contributing ideas for new and innovative recipes
• Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff to uphold our commitment to culinary excellence
• Collaborating seamlessly with the kitchen leadership team to uphold the highest standards of culinary excellence, ensuring the consistency and quality of every dish served.
• Strictly adhering to the establishment's rigorous hygiene protocols, while actively contributing to the meticulous maintenance of hygiene records and practices.
• Overseeing the meticulous management of stock levels, ensuring all preparation requirements are met, and proactively communicating with the management team regarding inventory and ordering needs.
• Cultivating a positive, professional, and harmonious working relationship with all restaurant teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and excellence

ATTRIBUTES, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum1 year experience as a Sous Chef or similar level of responsibility in a kitchen environment
• Have an absolute love of organic, nutrient dense wholefoods and the delivery of 5-star hotel like experience
• Organised, a good communicator and problem solver and have a hands-on approach
• Customer focused and enjoy speaking with people as there will be daily connection with members and guests
• All required certificates and education completed
• Proven working experience supporting a kitchen team
• Excellent record of kitchen management
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently with a positive and pro-active approach
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and working under pressure at times

Key Qualities

• Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
• Positive attitude and strong team spirit
• Honest, humble, and results-driven
