Description: We're looking for a sound editor/composer to complete the audio post-production on our short comedy film (approx. 6–10 minutes). The film is set at a hotel event and relies on comic timing, so experience with comedy is essential. We're preferably looking for someone who is AI savvy and can complete this using AI tools for time efficiency. The main goal is to complete by deadline. What you’ll do: Add and mix all sound effects (SFX). Compose or source music that enhances comedic beats. Deliver a stereo (2.0) festival-ready mix suitable for cinema screening. WAV 48kHz/24-bit Provide separate stems (dialogue, SFX, music). Ensure all rights are cleared for music and SFX. You must provide clearance documentation for anything AI-generated, licensed, or stock-based. All rights of created works will belong to the project and not to be reused without permission. What we’ll provide: Dialogue tracks (already cleaned with Eleven Labs AI. Near-final edit of the film (by 23 Sept 2025 Melbourne time). Notes on tone, pacing, and comic beats. Timeline: First draft of music within 48 hours of receiving the film cut. Revisions as required until final delivery. Final delivery deadline: 30 Sept 2025, 4:00am AEST (Melbourne time). Budget is fixed. Requirements: Experience in comedy sound editing and/or scoring (please include samples). Able to deliver a high-quality stereo mix ready for festival screening.
